Letter: Easter program helped 107 families

Reedsburg Area Helping Hands would like to thank everyone who contributed to this year's Spring Easter Program which served 214 children, ages 2 to 12, and 107 families who received personal care items and Easter baskets.

We want to acknowledge Aunt Jenny's Candy Kitchen in Wisconsin Dells for their contribution of candy.

Have a headache? Take two leeches and call me in the morning. If you consult a medical text from a couple of centuries ago, that may be the remedy you find. Today a textbook would probably tell you to pop a couple of aspirin. Tomorrow… Lasers? Magnetics? Who knows what advancements or discoveries will change how a simple headache is treated?
