The high school golf season will continue into the month of June for members of the River Valley Blackhawks team after a strong showing last week at the WIAA D-2 Regional in Prairie du Chien.
Sophomore Jack Meyer will be a participant in the WIAA State Boys Tennis Tournament at UW-Madison this weekend for the Reedsburg Beavers after placing fourth at flight one singles at the WIAA D-1 Madison Memorial Sectional last week.
Reedsburg achieved its highest win total on the softball diamond in 30 years or more this spring, but the Beavers were unable to add to that win total last week as Reedsburg lost a tight one at Portage, 3-1, in their first WIAA Tournament game of the post-season in D-2.
Reedsburg has reached its highest win total in several seasons this year in girls soccer action and it’s also the highest total in Coach Erica Gronley’s tenure at RAHS as Reedsburg wrapped up the regular season slate last Tuesday with a solid performance in a 4-0 win over Columbus in a match played at RAHS.
Weston looked to be the team in Ridge and Valley Conference Baseball for most of the season and it looked as though they would win a conference title in the sport for the first time since 1997.
It was a week of mixed results for the Cazenovia Reds in Home Talent Baseball. Caz won the Night League opener for 2025 in Reedsburg but lost at home to Sauk-Prairie in Sunday League action.
Reedsburg is always one of the smallest schools in the state for D-1 Track and Field and they always are in one of the toughest Sectionals as well each spring with numerous talented athletes from the La Crosse and Madison areas.

It’s the highest finish in many years in conference play for Reedsburg Beaver boys golf in 2025 as Reedsburg completed play for this season in Badger Small this past week with the end-of-season meet at Wild Rock, near Wisconsin Dells.
When the postseason arrives, that’s all a team hopes to do.
Well, Sauk Prairie’s baseball team did just that on May 29, scoring a run in the bottom of the seventh and edging Mauston, 3-2, in a WIAA Division 2 regional quarterfinal.
