It will be a mixture of veterans and youth taking the floor for this year’s version of Weston Silver Eagle boys basketball, with regular season play getting underway this week for the Silver Eagles.
The Reedsburg/Wisconsin Dells/Mauston boys high school hockey co-op, known as the RWD Miners, will kick off regular season play this week after two full weeks of pre-season workouts.

The girls hockey season for the Badger Lightning area high school co-op begins this week with a pair of games at the Pierce Park Pavillion in Baraboo. Nate Breunig, Josh Cone and Collin Hagen coach the group that consists of at least two players each from Sauk-Prairie, Reedsburg, Baraboo and Wis.
Anyone in attendance at Friday’s WIAA D-3 Football Championship Game at Camp Randall Stadium between the Reedsburg Beavers and Grafton Black Hawks won’t soon forget what they saw.
For just the third time in school history, the Reedsburg Beaver football team will play for a WIAA State Championship this Friday when the 10-3 Beavers face 13-0 Grafton for the D-3 title Friday morning at Camp Randall.
