Three Beaver players earn All-Conference soccer recognition

The top players on the soccer field this year in the Badger Conference Small Division were recognized recently as the voting for the All-Conference teams were announced with players selected as first-team, second-team or honorable mention. Sauk-Prairie won the conference title with Edgewood as runner-up.

It’s not a bold statement to say the overall caliber of play on the football field in the Mississippi Valley Conference was stronger this fall than the year previous so players needed to excel even more to be recognized as the league’s top players as the 2025 All-Conference teams have been announced.

Reedsburg’s Reuter makes All-Conference first-team volleyball in Badger Small

Beaver football is 2 wins away from a D-3 State Championship

Coming into the 2025 season, the Reedsburg Beaver football team had reached the semi-final round of the WIAA Playoffs six times in program history, but that number is now seven after Reedsburg rebounded from a slow start Friday on the way to a convincing 38-14 win over Pewaukee at Millennium Field in the D-3 quarterfinals.

Beaver boys soccer awards handed out for 2025 season

The Reedsburg Beaver boys soccer program recently held its season ending awards banquet and Coach David Fitzpatrick has announced the team’s award winners for 2025. Reedsburg was 4-13-1 for the season but did win two of the final four matches of the season.

This past weekend brought a touch of winter weather to the state of Wisconsin so perhaps it’s appropriate that the high school winter sports season gets rolling this week for area girls basketball teams, hockey teams and gymnastics squads with pre-season workouts.
