Reedsburg, Cazenovia ready for 2025 Home Talent Baseball this weekend

The Sunday League season for Home Talent Baseball kicks off this weekend with the Reedsburg Pirates hosting Waunakee Sunday at 1 p.m. at Nishan Park in one of the matchups in the Northern Section.

The Pirates won 22 of 30 games overall last season and were a playoff qualifier in both the Sunday League and Night League.

Sauk Prairie baseball ties for 4th in conference

Sauk Prairie’s baseball team continues to be one of the area’s surprise teams this spring.

The Eagles won all four of their games last week and improved to 11-6 on the year.

Sauk Prairie is also tied for fourth place in the Badger Small Conference with a 4-6 record.

Week of ups and downs for Sauk Prairie golf

Sauk Prairie’s golf team shined and finished third at the 21-team Nekoosa Invite on May 7. The Eagles then finished seventh at the final Badger Small Conference mini-meet of the year on May 9.

R-V girls soccer match at Dodgeville results in 2-2 draw

River Valley Blackhawks baseball earns league win over Richland Center

River Valley had a major league baseball type schedule last week with five games in six days but the Blackhawks did get a much-needed win on Friday over Richland Center.

After a 7-6 loss to Mount Horeb on Monday, R-V lost a tight 4-1 decision at Dodgeville last Tuesday in a return to SWC action.
