The 2025 regular season schedule is in the books for the Weston Silver Eagle Volleyball team, concluding last Tuesday with a 3-0 loss in conference play at Kickapoo.
The Reedsburg Beaver cross-country teams made the trek to Muscoda Saturday for the Riverdale Invite, one final tune-up before this weekend’s conference meet.
The high school football co-op of Wonewoc-Center/Weston in eight-man football has come to an end, at least for the near future, but it was a memorable way to go out on Friday for those associated with the program.
The week began with a conference loss but ended with a non-conference victory last week as the regular season nears a close for the Beaver boys soccer team.
Weston had not yet faced Wauzeka on the volleyball court until last week when the Silver Eagles squared off against them twice in three days. Unfortunately for Weston, the Silver Eagles lost 3-0 in both matches.
It was a full week wait between matches for the River Valley Blackhawks boys soccer team, but it may have been worth it in the end as the Blackhawks routed Coulee Christian 7-0 on Saturday. The seven goals were far and away a high-water mark for the season as R-V has now won 10 of their last 11 matches coming out of the weekend.
The River Valley Blackhawks had one final tune-up on the cross-country course prior to Thursday’s SWC Meet with their participation in the Annual Riverdale Invite at Muscoda.
