The regular season certainly ended on a positive note for the Reedsburg Beaver girls tennis squad after posting an exciting 4-3 dual match win at Holmen on Thursday in non-conference action, the final dual of the season for the team.
The River Valley Blackhawks cross country teams had two more opportunities to improve in competitions this past week with races in Black River Falls and also in Platteville as October begins.
There were only two wins in the first eight matches of the season for the River Valley Blackhawks in boys soccer action, facing some strong early season opponents. Since that point, however, R-V is 9-1 in the last 10 matches and the winning ways continued last week with three victories in a span of five days.
There is only one team that has not yet lost a league game in the 2025 SWC football season and that team would be the River Valley Blackhawks. River Valley improved to 5-0 in the SWC and 6-1 overall with a sixth straight win last Friday night, an exciting 28-26 win at Platteville.
