The Wisconsin Baseball Coaches Association handed out honors to several Reedsburg Beaver baseball players after Reedsburg enjoyed a very successful 2025 season which was highlighted by a WIAA State Tournament appearance and a third consecutive conference championship.

The Floggers team continues to lead the Monday Night Men’s Golf League standings at the Reedsburg Country Club coming into this week. Floggers has 713 points for the season, well ahead of second place Cellox in the full season standings. Peter Steinhauer, Dan Hillcoat, Dave Schoell and Don Webber are team members.

The Spring Green Dolphins put up a strong fight on Saturday but ultimately fell to a talented Sauk squad, 390–272, in Tri-County League competition. Despite the loss, Spring Green swimmers delivered great performances and demonstrated determination and teamwork across a challenging meet.

It was another successful season for the Reedsburg Beaver Track and Field program and the athletes were recognized recently at the end of season awards banquet.

Marcelino (Edison) Alonso, a 2023 RAHS graduate, made history as a member of the Reedsburg Beaver baseball program and now he’s making history a couple of years later as well.

The members of the River Valley High School Track and Field program were recognized recently by Coach Kevin Billington and the staff at the end of the 2025 season.

The 2025 River Valley Blackhawks baseball season was recognized recently at the team’s awards banquet with Coach Mitch Heinemeyer announcing the top players and their honors for this season.

It was an MLB like schedule this past week in Home Talent Baseball for the Caz Reds with three games in four days with the Reds able to get into the win column.

RAHS Activities Director Aaron May has announced this year’s Athletic Award winners with mostly seniors, along with two sophomores, recognized and honored for their achievements.
