Picture this: You’re a responsible adult who’s worked hard to start a business or purchase a home. You manage to pay all your bills. Maybe you can’t afford either of those despite working your tail off and trying hard to save money. You can barely make ends meet.

We always seem to rush the season. Here we are in high summer but we are bombarded with autumnal advertising. Back to School sales appear everywhere. That always annoyed me when I was a child; we didn't return to school until after Labor Day, but all the stores pitched Back to School almost from the day school got out in June!

Letter: Democrats, Republicans need to work together for all of us

After weeks of good-faith negotiations between a small group of Republicans and Democrats in the U.S. Senate, an initial agreement has been reached on a bipartisan infrastructure bill. This bill includes funding for roads and bridges, water infrastructure, clean water, high-speed internet, passenger and freight rail, and environmental clean-up.
