Picture this: You’re a responsible adult who’s worked hard to start a business or purchase a home. You manage to pay all your bills. Maybe you can’t afford either of those despite working your tail off and trying hard to save money. You can barely make ends meet.

We always seem to rush the season. Here we are in high summer but we are bombarded with autumnal advertising. Back to School sales appear everywhere. That always annoyed me when I was a child; we didn't return to school until after Labor Day, but all the stores pitched Back to School almost from the day school got out in June!

We all want to stop wearing masks. However, with plateauing and inadequate vaccination rates across our region, and no vaccine availability to children under the age of 12, experts agree that we are in for a surge.
