Following a bounce-back victory of its own just two days earlier, Sauk Prairie’s girls basketball team faced a Madison Edgewood squad in search of its own redemption last Saturday.
The Crusaders got what they were looking for, and in the process, dealt the host Eagles their second loss in three games.

The Sauk Prairie/Wisconsin Heights boys swimming team kept on rolling last week.
In a triple dual held at Jack Young Middle School in Baraboo on Jan. 12, Sauk Prairie defeated Baraboo, 105-64, and swam to an 85-85 tie with Monona Grove.
The Eagles also defeated McFarland, 99-71, on Jan. 16.
The good times keep rolling for Sauk Prairie’s co-op hockey team.
The Eagles won all three of their games last week and improved to 8-0 on the season.

Amazingly, wrestling regionals are just more than a week away.
And Sauk Prairie is hoping to peak at the right time.
The Eagles took a step in that direction during a 42-27 loss to Janesville Craig on Jan. 14.
After a three-day break from game action, the state-ranked Reedsburg Beaver girls basketball team took the floor twice in less than 24 hours and came away with a pair of lopsided wins over Onalaska and Portage as the Beavers improved to 9-1 for the season.

Weston faced a difficult stretch in its high school girls basketball schedule in recent days and the Silver Eagles continue to show improvement although the team dropped games against three quality opponents; Royall, LaFarge and Boscobel.
