Reedsburg meets Baraboo for the 138th time in high school football on Friday

The most often played high school football rivalry in the state of Wisconsin adds another chapter this week when the Reedsburg Beavers square off against the Baraboo Thunderbirds at Millennium Field for the 138th time in a matchup that dates back all the way back to 1900.

Spring Green Dolphins dive into future

The Spring Green Dolphins Swim Team is riding a wave of success this season, both in and out of the pool.

Due to six local sponsors, the team raised $36,000 to purchase Olympic-style starting blocks, improving the training and competitive experience for swimmers of all ages.

Weston volleyball struggles in R&V but downs Coulee Christian

Weston completed a sizable chunk of their conference volleyball slate last week with three Ridge and Valley matches on the home floor against De Soto, La Farge and Kickapoo. Unfortunately, the Silver Eagles weren’t able to make a dent in the win column as they fell to 1-5 in the R&V.

River Valley swim co-op has dual at Fort Atkinson

The River Valley/Lodi/ Wisconsin Heights girls swim co-op has just one competition scheduled this week and that is dual at Fort Atkinson on Tuesday.

It will be the sixth meet of the season for the squad, but the next home event is not until Oct. 7 in Lodi against Edgewood.

River Valley boys soccer claims tournament title

On Saturday, Sept. 13, the Blackhawk boys soccer team traveled to Wautoma to play in a soccer invite. Their first game was against the Nekoosa Papermakers. The Blackhawks maintained possession for the majority of the game and had 25 shots.
