Beavers’ girls soccer team rolls during a terrific week

Reedsburg’s girls soccer team began the season 0-3-1. The Beavers have caught fire since, though, going 5-1 in their last six games, highlighted by three straight wins last week.

WIAA approves NIL deals for prep athletes

The Eagles’ girls finished eighth out of 13 teams and the boys were ninth.

Sauk Prairie’s boys golf team had a rough start to the week.
But the Eagles finished in style.
Sauk Prairie shot a 300 — its best score in recent memory — and won the 16-team Reedsburg Invite at Reedsburg Country Club on April 18.

The Eagles won three singles matches and two doubles matches and bested Portage, 5-2.

Weston’s baseball team dropped three of four games last week.
But the Silver Eagles picked the right game to win, downing Kickapoo, 8-4, in a Ridge and Valley Conference game on April 17.
Weston is now 4-3 overall and 4-0 in the conference.
