A stretch of four meets in four days for the Beaver boys golf squad kicked off on Wednesday last week at the challenging Cedar Creek course. Reedsburg’s team score was a respectable 345 that put the Beavers 13th overall in a field of 19 schools with Waunakee at 318 the team champion.

The baseball season is nearing the midway point.
And Weston continues to roll.
The Silver Eagles notched a pair of impressive wins last week and are now 6-0 in the Ridge & Valley Conference and 6-3 overall. Here’s a recap of Weston’s week.
There were smiles, high fives and congratulations on the Weston side of the softball diamond after the Silver Eagles posted their first win of the year on April 21.
Frustration is a word that may be apt to describe the fortunes of this year’s River Valley baseball team.
The Blackhawks have lost three consecutive one-run games overall — including two last week — and are now 1-7 overall and 0-4 in the Southwest Wisconsin Conference.

Reedsburg’s track and field teams have a rarity this season with three home meets at Millennium Field.
Two of those came last week, and the Beavers performed well.
Reedsburg’s girls finished first and the boys were second at the Reedsburg Quad on April 22.
