The Eagles defeated Reedsburg, 3-0, on April 15. Sauk Prairie then edged Sun Prairie West, 1-0, on April 17.

Beavers outscore opposition 16-3 for week in girls soccer

Reedsburg has not beaten a traditionally strong Mount Horeb program in high school girls soccer action for several seasons and that made last week’s first match a satisfying one for the Beavers, who opened the conference season with a 1-1 draw at Mount Horeb last Tuesday.

Weston softball develops as season gets rolling

Things didn’t go as well for the Weston softball team last Thursday at Seneca after a respectable showing against De Soto in the first game in three years for the Silver Eagle girls. Seneca has a solid program and they took down the Weston girls, 17-0, in 5 innings last week.

Weston baseball pitching continues to dominate

The first two games of the Weston Silver Eagle baseball season have been tense, low scoring affairs with outstanding pitching leading the way for Coach Brent Jennings squad. After a 2-0 win at De Soto to kick off 2025, the Silver Eagles won 2-1 last Thursday to get off to a 2-0 start to the conference season.

It was a fairly quiet week for the Reedsburg Beaver track and field teams with just one meet on Saturday at New Lisbon with some of the top performers not competing.
