For each of the past two springs, those associated with Reedsburg Beaver baseball felt they had a WIAA State Tournament caliber team but in each season, those hopes were dashed with post-season losses.

High school baseball teams have done some work in recent days in preparation for the 2025 season but the official start of the pre-season was this week for teams across the state, including the Reedsburg Beavers.

Another season of success for the Ithaca/Weston High School wrestling co-op was recognized recently at the team’s end of season banquet.

The team awards have been announced for this season for the Reedsburg/Wisconsin Dells/Mauston boys hockey co-op under Head Coach Jeramy Greenwood.

The indoor track and field season is now underway for the Ithaca/Weston co-op after the opening meet of the season Saturday at UW-La Crosse, the Cashton Invite, for small schools. I/W was among a field of over 20 schools competing.

Head Coach Tracy Jennings and the Weston Silver Eagle boys basketball team celebrated its season on Sunday with some players receiving special team awards. The Silver Eagles won three conference games this season and five overall for the just completed campaign.

There has not been winning seasons in recent history for Reedsburg Beaver softball but it happened last year and Head Coach Liz Baker and the staff, along with the players, look to keep the ball rolling so to speak for the 2025 season.

Just about everyone on the roster got to compete this past weekend for the Reedsburg Beaver track and field teams with Reedsburg participating in a pair of indoor meets at Wisconsin Rapids and a large meet at UW-La Crosse, with Mauston serving as the host school.

The Reedsburg Beavers Special Olympic basketball team won both their games at the sectional tournament in Stevens Point on Sunday, March 16. These two victories earned the Beavers a trip to the state basketball tournament, which will be at UW-Oshkosh April 11-13.
