Weston has 3 players recognized for all-league honors in boys basketball

Weston had three players earning all-conference recognition this season as the Ridge and Valley Conference boys basketball all-league teams have been announced.

Five Eagles named all-conference

Sauk Prairie’s girls basketball team landed five players on the all-Badger Small Conference team. Junior forward Mallory Hartwig and senior forward Ava Brings were both named first-team all-conference.

Sauk Prairie’s boys basketball team had three players earn all-Badger Small Conference honors. Senior guard Nicholas Keyser was named second-team all-conference. Junior guard Otis Andres and junior forward Jake Buckles were both named honorable-mention all-conference.

Seven wrestlers named all-conference

The Sauk Prairie/Wisconsin Heights wrestling program had seven individuals earn spots on the all-Badger Small Conference team. In boys wrestling, Conway Knox was named to the first-team at 150 pounds. Max Schroeder (106 pounds), Matt Tesch (113), Lane Albers (190) and Logan McIntyre (215) were all named second-team all-conference.

Beavers track and field athletes prep for 2025 season this week

By the time you read this story, the track and field season will be underway at RAHS with official pre-season workouts getting underway on Monday this week. It was a record-setting season for the boys last season with several school individual and relay records being broken and the team won its first conference title since 2009.

The top boys basketball players in the Badger Conference Small Divisions were recognized last week as the All-Conference teams were announced.
