What? Those who feelings obviously get hurt using the words like scumbag, human garbage, etc. I expected to flock to the idea of hosting them. Just another case of the left's bubble preaching "do for thee but not for me".

As time passes, people use milestones and benchmarks to sit back and measure both success and failure. Young people’s perception(s) of the concept, is likened to sitting at the bottom of a well, with a faint light at the top, providing a reason to climb.

In 2024, while campaigning on “Fox & Friends,” candidate Trump was asked if he would release the Epstein files. His reply? "Yeah, yeah I would. I guess I would.”

So why haven’t we seen them yet? He’s been president for over 6 months. There are people who voted for him because of that promise. He owes us all that transparency.

What a summer! I often feel trapped by the ice and snow of winter, but I expect freedom to roam around the yard in summer, visiting things I have planted and pausing to watch the birds. No such luck this year! The variety of curses this summer has brought is unprecedented!

A few thoughts about the July 24 letters from Dawn Ingham and Wayne Bruno:

Suffering and death will be the greatest achievement of the obscene, immoral budget bill just passed by the Republicans in Congress and signed by President Trump.

The blood donors of the River Valley area generously answered the call to help others in need. On August 1st we collected 75 units of blood products. These donations can potentially save the lives of 225 people.

I was never particularly familiar with death as a child. There were momentous deaths to my childlike sensibility — like my grandfather’s, and then my grandmother’s — but when all is said and done I was spared from a lot of death growing up.

To celebrate this summer’s 50th anniversary of the movie “Jaws” I’m reading the book. The movie premiered 50 years ago this summer and was, from what I’ve been reading, the first summer blockbuster. It was the highest grossing film in history… until “Star Wars” came along two years later.
