The Friends of the Spring Green Community Library would like to thank everyone who made the annual community-wide garage sale a success. Thanks to the efforts of the volunteers, participants, and library staff, we raised over $1,600 to support the library’s programs.

There is a bumper crop of cucumbers this year. I mean – holy cow. Cucs everywhere. It’s as bad as zucchini. I have friends who sneak them onto people’s porches (mine) and scurry off before they are caught at it. Not that I’m not grateful but it worries me a little. If cucs are this abundant, what are zucchinis doing?
