Letter: The minority now rules

Don't be fooled: The government that bans abortion can also force you to have an abortion if they decide the country is becoming overpopulated. Remember China's "one child policy"? They could also force all men of a certain age to have a vasectomy, or outlaw same-sex marriage, which has already been hinted at.

STANEK COLUMN: Close encounters of the wild kind

My yard is undergoing the most wonderful invasion.

Geiger Counter

Pool party   Our friends recently gave us a pool.  “You can have it for free!” they said.  I didn’t realize it at the time, but a free above-ground pool is like a free space shuttle from IKEA. There are going to be some hidden monetary costs, and a psychological toll as well.
