Problem solving in modern times has transcended the age-old tried and true methodology of searching a root cause through scientific analysis of best historical practices, identifying and solving it, rather than engage in knee-jerk placeboes which make people feel good, but sit in obvious denial of cause and effect.

June Dairy Month is upon us, and it is certainly something people across our state can be proud of. June Dairy Month is an extra opportunity to celebrate a few of the things Wisconsin is known for— producing, processing and consuming dairy.

As I drove to the Fly-In, Drive-In Breakfast on Sunday, I shook my head at the gas station signs. Over $4.50 per gallon, and that’s just for regular unleaded. Diesel is much higher. Our prices weren’t even that shocking during the peak of the pandemic.

I was going to write to you about turtles and how this is the time of year when they move about looking for sites to lay their eggs. We need to give them the right of way if we meet them on the road. If they are in danger there, we should move them along in the direction they are headed.
