Letter: Vouchers should be completely discontinued

In a recent Independent, Dave Wester made a valid point about the danger of publicly supporting some religious schools through tuition vouchers. I just don’t think he went far enough. Any religious school is going to filter all educational content through its belief system.

Sixty six percent of respondents said they saw it as a coup and attempt on U.S. democracy.

In the spring before she died, Denise and I ordered a batch of chicks to share. We ordered many different breeds; I like Rhode Island Reds and Blue Andalusians and I wanted to add a Barred Rock to my little flock.

We’re popular in Florida   When my daughter was in kindergarten, one of the myriad forms we were asked to fill out by the school district signed her up for a limited liability company that has no community or government oversight. They market our own daughter’s artwork to us, and I don’t believe we will ever be free from them.
