The Lodi/River Valley/Wisconsin Heights swimming co-op team enjoyed a tremendous season.
Wisconsin Heights swimmers senior Nola Frost, freshman Annabelle Schultze and sophomore Danika Henning were all instrumental in what has been one of the most successful Lodi co-ops in years.
DEFOREST — In the midst of a rebuilding year, any thoughts of Sauk Prairie’s boys soccer team reaching the sectional tournament might have been considered a pipe dream.
On a brisk and windy Halloween evening, though, that is exacting where the Eagles found themselves for the second year in a row.
Sauk Prairie’s girls swimming team tied for fifth place at the Badger Small Conference meet last Saturday.
Madison Edgewood won the team title with 583 points, while Monroe/New Glarus was second at 413. Lodi/River Valley/Wisconsin Heights was third at 297, McFarland was fourth at 272 and the Eagles and Mount Horeb tied for fifth with 153 points.

The Mississippi Valley Conference has announced the 2024 All-Conference Football teams and the Reedsburg Beavers, one of five teams that shared this year’s league championship, have eight players that earned recognition on one of three different levels.
The Ridge and Valley Conference eight-man football All-League teams have been announced for the 2024 season but no members of the Wonewoc-Center/Weston Silverwolves were named to the first-team or second-team All-Conference units. Senior Cooper Hanko was the Silverwolves rep on the All-Conference Sportsmanship team.

An outstanding junior cross-country season for Reedsburg’s Victor Martinez came to a very satisfying end this past weekend as he competed for the first time in the WIAA State Meet at the Ridges Golf Course in Wisconsin Rapids.
