On Monday evening, Flogger’s defeated G6 Lawn Hydration to reach the finals where they will meet Evergreen Custom Builders as they defeated Hartje Lumber in the other semi-final.

Vanguards’ comeback falls just short

It wasn’t the result they hoped for. But Wisconsin Heights’ football team had a lot to feel good about after its 36-28 loss to Highland last Friday. The Vanguards rallied from a 28-6 deficit and forged a 28-all tie early in the fourth quarter. But the Cardinals responded and held on for a thrilling win.

Winning a tournament is always special for a team. Winning your own invite is even more exciting. Sauk Prairie’s girls volleyball team did just that last Saturday, capturing its own tournament. The Eagles went 6-0 on the day and won the Sauk Prairie Invite in convincing fashion.

Eagles’ swimmers third at Baraboo Relays

Sauk Prairie girls swimming team finished in third place at the five-team Baraboo Relays last Saturday. Monona Grove won the team title with 430 points, while Onalaska was second with 266 points. Sauk Prairie was third (180), Black River Falls was fourth (166) and Baraboo was fifth (94).

Eagles’ girls XC team ninth at River Valley Invitational

Sauk Prairie’s girls cross country team finished in ninth place at the star-studded, 21-team River Valley Invite last Saturday. Madison West won the team title with 48 points, while the Eagles finished with 231 points.
