Eagles’ hockey team cruises by Stoughton

The Sauk Prairie co-op hockey team rolled past Stoughton, 10-3, on Jan. 23. The Eagles — who also have players from Mount Horeb, Barneveld, River Valley and Wisconsin Heights — improved to 9-10 overall and 5-4 in the Badger Conference.

The Golf Coaches Association of Wisconsin (GCAW) announced that 470 student-athletes from 122 high schools across the state were 2024 Academic All-State honorees. Four of them are from the Reedsburg Beaver girls golf program.

Beavers fall to McFarland in boys hoops, but rally to defeat Edgewood

McFarland, arguably the second-best team in Badger Small boys basketball after state-ranked Mount Horeb, was the opponent for the Reedsburg Beavers last Tuesday at RAHS. The Beavers also had to deal with this challenge without both starting guards as Bo Bestor, illness, and Will Mikonowicz, appendix, were out of the lineup.
