Reedsburg U-18 Babe Ruth Baseball will play in Lexington, Kentucky later this month


Reedsburg will be sending a U-18 Babe Ruth Baseball Team to compete in the Ohio Valley Regional Tournament at Lexington, Kentucky on July 19-22 after the Reedsburg team won two games Saturday over Cross Plains and Dodgeville in Dodgeville. Twins stay atop Northern Section

Sauk Prairie’s Home Talent League team swept a pair of games last weekend and stayed atop the Northern Section. The Twins defeated Mazomanie, 6-3, on Saturday, then edged Black Earth, 5-4, on Sunday. Sauk Prairie improved to 8-1 and leads second place Ashton (7-2) by one game. Those two teams meet in a make-up game Saturday at 1 p.m. in Ashton.

G6 Lawn Hydration is top team in Golf League

The team of G6 Lawn Hydration was tops this week with six points Monday night to win week 10 of the Monday Night Men’s Golf League at the Reedsburg Country Club.

Team members include Dave Olsen, Jay Imhoff, Chris Eigenberger and Kurt Andreasen.
