Beavers bow out at Portage Sectional on baseball diamond

It had already been a season of championships for the Reedsburg Beaver Baseball team going into last week, including a Badger Small championship in the first season of the newly configured conference, the second straight league title for the Beavers, along with a WIAA D-2 Regional title for the second year in a row as well.

Kaylee Peterson earns 4th place at WIAA State Track and Field for Ithaca/Weston


Ithaca/Weston had five athletes competing at the WIAA State Track and Field Meet in La Crosse this past week. Kaylee Peterson, Tristen Peterson, Aubri Koch and Kaylee Miller ran in the 4x100 girls relay with Kaylee Peterson also placing fourth in the girls 800 with Miller also competing in the high jump. Kaylee Peterson has been fortunate enough to be on the podium on multiple occasions at the WIAA State Meet for the Ithaca/Weston co-op program and after a fifth-place finish in the D-3 girls 800-meter run, she bettered it over the weekend, placing fourth in another sterling effort for the senior in her final season as a high school trackster.

Beaver soccer season draws to close with loss at Onalaska

Reedsburg had a tough draw as the WIAA Tournament season opened in girls soccer last week with the Beavers going on the road to face the top seed in their grouping, Onalaska who won the Mississippi Valley Conference title and has not lost a match all season.
