Eagles’ track teams enjoy terrific week

Sauk Prairie track and field teams fared well at the Wisconsin Rapids Invite last Friday. The Eagles’ girls finished in third place out of six teams, while Sauk Prairie’s boys were fourth.

Softball Eagles go 0-4 in rough week

Sauk Prairie’s girls softball team dropped all four of its games last week and fell to 2-13 on the season.  The Eagles are also 1-8 in the Badger Small Conference. Here’s a recap of Sauk Prairie’s week: • River Valley 5, Sauk Prairie 3 — The Eagles pounded out 10 hits, but fell to visiting River Valley on April 29.

Eagles’ boys lacrosse team drops a pair

Sauk Prairie’s boys lacrosse team dropped a pair of games last week. The Eagles fell to top-ranked Waunakee, 9-1, on April 29. Sauk Prairie then dropped a 10-1 decision to Madison on May 3, In the Eagles’ loss to Waunakee, sophomore attacker Kaleb Chetwood had a goal, while senior midfielder Isaiah Torres had an assist.

Weston experienced some adversity on the baseball diamond early last week but the Silver Eagles responded with one of the best performances of the season in a victory over Seneca.

New program record set for Ithaca/Weston Track and Field co-op


Clayton Lee, competing for the Ithaca/Weston co-op Track and Field program broke a program record last week in the boys 3200 in a meet in Elroy with a time of 10 minutes, 32.12 seconds, breaking the old mark which had been in place for over 30 years. (Ithaca/Weston Track and Field photo)

A new program record was the highlight this past week for the Ithaca/Weston track and field co-op who had a pair of strong showings in meets at Kickapoo High School and Royall High School.
