Don’t you hate it when it’s colder than it looks outside?

Monday certainly looked like a more pleasant day than Sunday; at least the skies were sunny. But, oh, that wind. It was enough to make me wish I’d dug out my parka and earmuffs.

I've never had anything that was 66 million years old except rocks. But now, thanks to the Sauk Prairie Conservation Alliance's fundraising auction, I own a real dinosaur bone! I have a rib bone from an Edmontosaurus, a duck-billed dinosaur that grew to be 20 to 40 feet long!

Remember John Lennon singing “Imagine?” He wanted us to imagine a world with peace and brotherhood and kindness. So, Imagine! Imagine a Wisconsin legislature that works for the benefit of all of us. 

This past Thanksgiving, the Wonewoc Badgers hosted the return of their annual Turkey Trot, a 5K Run/Walk along with a ¼-mile Fun Run for the kids. Over 180 registrations were collected for the variety of options.

Awards were given as follows:

--Best Dressed Participant: Krista Nowak

The Reedsburg Service Clubs – Lions, Jaycees, Knights of Columbus and Reedsburg Outdoor Club all wish to thank the community for supporting our annual Hunters Night Out Banquet.

The Reedsburg Old Settlers held a board meeting on December 4th, 2021. As a result of this meeting, the motion was made to disband the organization. The Reedsburg Old Settlers organization will officially disband as of January 31st, 2022.

The Natural Resources Board, an all-volunteer body that guides policy for the Department of Natural Resources, is part of Wisconsin’s tradition of open government.
