Letters to the editor

Dear editor, I have been a resident of the Westwood subdivision for the past 20 years. Our lot borders the Spring Green Estates trailer court (owned by Marvin Gardens Apartments LLC) where I have friends. I am also a new member of the Town of Spring Green Plan Commission.

Nature and Society: What can you give this season?

What would you give Jesus for Christmas if he came by? Warm mittens? (He could probably use them since he was used to much warmer weather in the Middle East!) A fruit cake? (I think that would be a one-way ticket to Purgatory.) A necktie? A cheese hat? Some Packer memorabilia? Some homemade cookies? (No, those are for St. Nicholas.)

Letter: Bakers gave lots for bread sale

Our library and community were definitely on the same page for the Friends of the Reedsburg Library's Grateful Bread Day Sale. It was a very successful event and truly wonderful seeing folks that we hadn't seen for a long time.
